Ayurvarta Prabodhini ( a non-profit NGO) is committed to propagate the
health & fitness through ayurveda, a proven way of happy and healthy
life.
As our mission, we conduct different activities on the various aspects
of health.
Here is a brief account of our activities :

- Amritvan (medicinal farming project)

Arogya Manthan (wellness education) :
Ayurveda has the richest treasure of wellness & fitness. We are committed
to pass on this wealth to everybody. Orientation courses, Events, Seminars,
Check-up Camps, Lecture series etc. are arranged with this purpose.
Orientation courses in Ayurveda:
The courses are designed in such a way that the common man can benefit
from the principles of ayurveda. Its successfully conducted at Thane,
Vileparle, Vashi, Mulund, Dadar & Kalyan.
Events & Seminars :
Events & seminars is a good way to put across a message to larger audience.
We have many successful seminars & events to our credit.
Arogya 2003 ( a mega event on various aspects of health), Combating Heart Disease (2002), Juvenile ENT Problems (2002), Health & Beauty after Forty (2001), Living with Arthritis (2001), Heart Problems New Frontiers (2001), Respiratory Diseases (Medicos Seminar – 2000) are a few to name with.
Medical Check-up & treatment camps :
Difficult & rare cases need a special attention. Various camps are
conducted with this view. Blood Donation Camp (1996), Asthma (1997), Migraine
(1998), Obesity (2000) are a few.
Research :
We have been relentlessly undertaking pilot projects and several clinical
researches on challenging medical problems. More than 12 projects have
been completed so far.
Ayurvarta Publication : (Magazine, Books, Internet site)
A good way to spread awareness is to publish literature of wellness in
simple language. Currently to our credit we have books, internet site
and ayurvarta bi-monthly magazine.

From a non periodical in 1997 ayurvarta has turned into a regular bi-monthly
magazine & is on the path of steady growth.
Amritvan : Medicinal Farming Project
To protect the rich tradition of ayurveda, the rich flora must be preserved.
The Amritvan project (medicinal farming) is a must for ayurvedic industry & patients.
Expert advice & guidance for eco-viable projects is given to interested
farmers & entrepreneurs. Different courses, awareness talks are also
arranged.
Samvad (Wellness project for senior citizens) :
Samvad is socially oriented project for senior citizens. To help seniors
to solve physical-mental-socio-economical problems; Samvad has currently
free counseling & health lecture series.
